Small prefabricated apartments with everything needed for contemporary living in the big metropolis, using the smallest possible surfaces and space, and the major technological solutions for the well-being of the users. That’s architecture, interiors and furniture in one product. In this project architectural design is associated not only with aesthetics and style, but also to the choice of materials from sustainable sources, to indoor air quality, to energy efficiency and productivity, analysing how the use of efficient interior design techniques can impact the habitable space in order to improve building performances and sustainability in land use. The use of smart interior design techniques, a current trend related to the use of efficient and flexible furniture and movable walls in tiny or compact apartments, can greatly reduce buildings’ impact on the environment.
