CHARTA Fruits

CHARTA Fruits

Together with the skilled papier-mâché artist Francesco Lippolis and Antonio Rezzi, a research work of applying the use of papier-mâché on contemporary objects of common and decorative use, led to the exhibition of the “CHARTA fruit”, where various species of Mediterranean fruits made in papier mache were displayed in wooden boxes, like a typical fruit shop. The CHARTA project aims to bring the “culture of papier-mâché” closer to the “culture of design” by making its values converge, experimenting with art, technique and processing methods, even exploring areas of intervention and social involvement. The CHARTA artifacts are born in the awareness of a desired reintegration of the man-nature balance, a necessary and sustainable goal, even in small gestures, in small things like these papier-mâché objects.
